Irish viewers are not happy with the presenters of ITV’s This Morning, after they mistakenly announced live on air that Ruth Negga is British.
The Loving star was the focus of an Oscars fashion segment, when it was referred to that she was “flying the flag for Britain” at last night’s glamorous awards ceremony.
Ruth is actually Irish-Ethiopian, as she was born in Africa but moved to Limerick at a young age. Fans were not happy with the presenters of the popular programme for the blunder, and they took to social media to vent their anger.
We hope they correct their mistake on tomorrow’s show.
