The Irish actress is stepping into the world of presenting, as she has just been announced as a guest presenter at this year’s Tony Awards.
The Brooklyn star is set to hand out a gong at the ceremony, which takes place next month in New York on the 12th of June.
The Carlow native will join an array of Hollywood celebrities including Oprah Winfrey and Cate Blanchett.
The event is due to take place in The Beacon Theatre and British comedian James Cordon will be hosting the event.
Saoirse is currently living in New York while starring in The Crucible.
The theatre show is about the Salem witch trials of 1692, and 22-year-old plays Abigail Williams, the town terror.
The Crucible is nominated in the ‘Best Revival of a Play’ category at the Tony Awards, which are known as the Oscars of the theatre world.
