Gary Barlow walked off the set of BBC’s The One Show on Friday night after falling ill.

The Take That singer appeared on the show, hosted by Angela Scanlon and Richard Osman, alongside his bandmates Howard Donald and Mark Owen to promote their upcoming tour and new album, Wonderland.

When Richard asked the trio whether they had anything special planned for their upcoming tour Gary replied saying: “Can I leave you guys to it? I don’t feel very well, excuse me.”

As Gary walked off the set, Angela asked him: “Are you alright?”

The interview continued in Gary’s absence but Howard admitted they were bit distracted, saying: “It feels a bit weird now that Gaz is just not feeling himself.”

It didn't feel the same.

After the  show Gary took to Twitter to thank fans for their support and assure them that he’s absolutely fine.

“Thank you all for the messages. I’m absolutely fine. We had a very hot dressing room and I thought I was gong to faint on live TV!” he wrote.

Angela took to Twitter and made light of the situation saying: “Last nights show reminds me why I LOVE live tele. Thanks @officialgarybarlow for keeping Osman & I on our toes! Glad you’re feeling better xx.”
