Former Miss Universe Ireland Grainne Gallanagh has announced her engagement.
The nurse took to Instagram to share her good news with a gorgeous snap.
She posed for a snap with her now fiancée Ryan Coleman with the pair beaming at the camera.
“When Ryan called daddy to ask for his approval to ask me to marry him daddy responded ‘well you know each other long enough now Ryan’,” she wrote on Instagram with a laughing emoji.

“So here we are… even after all these years I still got the shock of my life.”
How sweet!
She was quickly met with sweet comments from her friends in the comment section of the post.

Grainne and Ryan have been together for the past 10 years, originally meeting in their native Buncrana in Donegal.
Earlier this year, the couple relocated to Australia.

And it looks like they have bene having the time of their life. Before leaving she told The Sunday World: “I’m nervous about heading into the unknown. It’s something that I’ve been talking about for years, but with Covid and all the rest I kept putting it off…
“These are the things you do when you are in your twenties and I feel that, with Covid, we lost those years and they passed before you knew it.
“I feel that our generation was robbed of a couple of years where we should have been enjoying our best life,” the nurse shared.
Well, she is living the dream now!
