She has returned to her native England and has started a career in real estate.

“I haven’t danced since the final of DWTS – I needed to shake my life up and make some changes and it’s been the best decision for me at this chapter in my life,” she wrote on social media.

Sharing her “truths” in a candid social media post, she admitted: “I often feel guilty of how much time I’ve missed out on my families’ lives over the last 10 years of dancing that I now make it a PRIORITY once per week to spend quality time together.”

Speaking about her decision to leave Dancing with the Stars, Emily told RSVP: “It was the right time for me. I finished on a high after winning the show with Carl Mullan. I had six really amazing seasons on Dancing with the Stars, but now my business is really taking off.

“I think I was ready to take that step and try new things and be able to delve into other opportunities that I wasn’t 100 per cent able to commit to before. The show was always very demanding.”

Well it looks like she is smashing it outside of the world of dancing.
