Pippa O’Connor was out to impress with an elaborate menu on The Restaurant last night, and she certainly did just that.

The mum-to-be soared up the leader board, earning 4 stars for her Michelin inspired menu.

For her two starters, Pippa served up lobster, mango and vermicelli roll with nam jim dipping sauce, and also chartreuse of asparagus and garden leek with chervil and lemon infused sauce.

For mains, she offered a fillet of turbot with Provencal vegetables and herbs in a paper parcel, and a marinated lamb fillet, wilted spinach with lemon and herb infused couscous alongside a rosemary jus.

Marco Pierre White adored these, and said, “You see for me, the main courses are the best two dishes we’ve had, number one, both beautifully cooked, number two, both served wonderfully hot and number three, they’re quite simple, perfect.”

Pippa’s final dishes of the night were her deserts, which she served gnocchetti of cocoa, toasted nuts and vanilla sauce, and her second option was a meringue of elderflower elegance tasting plate.

Her menu went down an absolute treat with judges who gave her four stars, while fans took to Twitter to also share their thoughts – all of which couldn’t have praised her more.
