TikTok star Eric Roberts has joked that all his dad jokes have finally come in handy as he is set to become a father.
He announced his good news on social media this week with a video alongside his wife, Niamh.
The Donegal native posted a video that showed Niamh holding pictures of her ultrasound as she stand in a pink dress.
Robert looked dapper in a blue suit as he twirled her around in the sweet clip.

“I knew all these Dad jokes would come in handy one day,” he wrote on Instagram.
He was immediately met with congratulatory comments from his friends, Síle Seoige commented: “Ah brilliant delighted for yee both xxxx”.
“The best news. Congratulations xxx,” Holly Carpenter wrote.
“Amazing news. So happy for you brother. That kid is gonna be one happy baby !!” Greg O’Shea added.
The couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in their native Donegal in August of 2023. They were joined by their closest family and friends for their big day.
Robert popped the question the previous year in Santorini in March 2022.
The childhood sweethearts first met in 2006 and had an on-again/off-again relationship for several years.
