Emma Power is flying high and rubbing shoulders with some of Hollywood’s biggest names.
Including Gerard Butler!
Just before we catch up, she’s freaking out because the PS I Love You actor has liked her Instagram Reel.
“I honest to God almost passed out!” she laughs as she walks the carpet at this year’s Platinum VIP Style Awards.
She’s of course, one of the incredible women who keep us entertained every weekend on RTÉ 2FM alongside Roz Purcell.
“We’re really enjoying it! It’s been going for over a year now, it’s 14-months up and running,” she tells us.
And the women really have settled into their show. The last JNLR figures show that they are up 20,000 listeners, with 123,000 tuning in on Saturday and 101,000 listeners on Sunday!
Nothing to be sniffed at.
“We love going in every weekend and spending time with the listener, we’re also having loads of craic together.”
She’s, of course, kept busy with her radio show but that doesn’t mean that she’s not always hustling!
“I have a few projects in sight that I’d like to work on,” she says about what she has coming up this summer.
“But for the moment I’m focusing on the show, I’m doing all the movie stuff for 2FM as well, doing all the junkets there and then hopefully I’ll be non-stop DJing at festivals.”
