Fans of the Hold My Drink podcast, hosted by influencers and friends Ellie Kelly and Charleen Murphy are in for a real treat this November, as the pair are bringing their live show to Dublin’s Vicar Street for two nights of hilarious, insightful chats, “Secrets from the Stalls” audience dilemmas, surprise special guests and covetable prizes thrown in.

Hold My Drink with Ellie and Charleen is a GoLoud original podcast proudly sponsored by Primark. It shot to number one in the Irish podcast charts within one hour of release in October 2021, and has gone on to win Best Podcast in the Stellar InstaStar Awards 2022.

Following their sold-out shows in Dublin’s Liberty Hall in August, the two gal pals are upping their game with a live version of their GoLoud podcast in the city’s iconic Vicar Street on the 7th and 8th of November. Special guests for the Liberty Hall show included Bla and Aoibh Murphy, Jack Keating, Sean Phipps and James Doyle.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Hold My Drink Live to the Vicar Street stage,” says Ellie and Charleen, who feel the Dublin venue is a great platform to showcase their female-led live chat show.

“We first started our podcast because there were so many male-led podcasts at the time and not enough female ones, and we wanted to create a safe space for people to come and switch off but to also touch on serious topics. We’d describe the podcast as a girls’ chat, a sit down with your friends to talk about all things life – from romantic dramas to fashion choices and everything in between.”

“We also wanted people to get to know us on a more personal level. Instagram can only show so much of our lives, so we feel like the podcast really shows our true personalities. We touch on things that we usually wouldn’t on Instagram and get to talk about ourselves more in depth.”

Hold My Drink Live is a continuation of this concept, bringing Ellie and Charleen’s natural humour and chemistry to a live audience, where they can really interact with their fans.

On the podcast, consistently in the top Irish podcast charts, they have had guests such as Greg O’Shea, Kneevo, Keilidh Cashell, Sean Phipps, Arianna Ajtar, Jamie Goonery, Aimée, Calvin O’Brien and Terence Power from Talking Bollox Podcast, and Ellie’s sister Caoimhe.

Hold My Drink Live comes to Dublin’s Vicar Street 7th and 8th of November , a very limited number of tickets remain, available from ticketmaster.com priced at €35.50 plus booking fee.
