Former One Direction star Liam Payne has turned to Ed Sheeran for help in launching his solo career.
Liam is expected to drop new music any day now, and apparently Ed co-wrote the debut solo single when the pair got together a few months ago.
An insider told The Irish Sun, “Liam and Ed have been friends for years, ever since Ed first wrote for One Direction on their debut album. The collaboration actually came about very quickly earlier this year.
“Having Ed on board is a clever move too, as it means he will reach music fans beyond just 1D obsessives.”
All eyes are on Liam as we wait for his debut solo single, with former bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik all appearig in the charts since the band split in 2015.
We cannot wait to hear this!
