Eamonn Holmes underwent major surgery today to get both of his hips replaced. Ahead of the daunting procedure, the ITV star shared an emotional message with his fans.
The presenter shared a picture on Twitter which read, “Every morning, we get a chance to be different. A chance to change. A chance to be better. Your past is your past. Leave it there. Get on with the future part.”
Earlier in the week, Eamonn also shared another message, which read, “Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen.”
His wife, and fellow This Morning presenter, Ruth Langsford, took to Twitter just recently to tell everyone that the surgery was a success, and Eamonn’s doing well.
“Very happy to tell you Eamonn Holmes is back from surgery. All went well and he is smiling,” she said.
RTÉ’s Nuala Carey shared some well-wishes with the star, saying, “Good luck from all in Dublin. Looking forward to seeing you back on ITV This Morning again very soon x.”
