Semi-final night brought all the emotions as the remaining five couples fought for their place in next week’s Dancing With the Stars final, performing a magical routine for Fairy Tale night.
Brooke and Robert were the last ones standing which resulted in them getting five extra marks on top of their overall judge’s score.
So, with everything to play for, it’s fair to say the final five couples really did give it their all tonight. But sadly for one celebrity, it was time for their DWTS journey to come to an end.
That’s right, Suzanne and Kevin, unfortunately, found themselves in tonight’s nail-biting dance-off with Kevin missing out on a place in the final.
As for the rest of the celebs, here’s how they got on…
Kevin McGahern and Laura Nolan
Kevin and Laura took inspiration from ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and served up a super-fun Charleston to ‘Cotton Eye Joe’ by Rednex.
Their routine earned them 27 points.
Damian McGinty and Kylee Vincent
Damian and Kylee Vincent served up a ‘Sleeping Beauty’-styled Rumba to ‘Stay’ by Shakespears Sister.
Their haunting performance left them with 29 points.
Suzanne Jackson and Michael Danilczuk
Following their record-breaking Rumba which earned them a perfect score of 30 on last Sunday’s show, Suzanne and Michael danced the Tango to ‘Hungry like the Wolf’ by Duran Duran, inspired by the fairy tale ‘Little Red Riding Hood’.
They earned 29 points.
Brooke Scullion and Robert Rowiński
After her shock Dance-Off last week, Brooke Scullion and Robert came back fighting this week and performed a ‘Cinderella’-themed Cha-cha-cha to Years & Years and Kylie Minogue’s hit ‘A Second to Midnight’.
They scored 30 points.
Carl Mullan and Emily Barker
Carl and Emily kept the momentum up with a Quickstep to ‘Hit the Road Jack’ by Throttle, with a Jack and the Beanstalk theme running through their routine.
They were awarded 26 points.
