It’s been a mass exodus in 2FM this summer.

Doireann Garrihy kicked things off in May as she announced her departure, she was swiftly followed by Jennifer Zamparelli and The 2 Johnnies.

It is also being reported that Lottie Ryan will be stepping back from her Drivetime slot.

Now, rumours have swirled that Donncha O’Callaghan is set to leave 2FM.

It is reported that he will finish up at the end of the week, just one month after Doireann hung up her mic.

A source told The Irish Sun: “How can 2FM Breakfast replace first one, now two presenters?”

They added that the Breakfast show is the “most important” of the day.

Donncha has not made any comment on his reported departure as he continues to present the Breakfast Show with Carl Mullan and newcomer Aifric O’Connell.

Aifric swapped her turn on The 2 Johnnies’ show for the early mornings.

Lottie Ryan and David O’Reilly stepped into the Drivetime slot but now it has been reported that Lottie was only a temporary host for the summer.

It is rumoured that TikTok lipsyncer Kayleigh Trappe will be joining RTÉ 2FM. In fact, The Irish Sun claims that Kayleigh could step into the role this week.

Neither Lottie nor Kayleigh have responded to rumours.
