Derry Girls co-star shows support for Nicola Coughlan’s new show

Derry Girls star, Louisa Harland is showing her support for her former co-star Nicola Coughlan and we love to see it!

Yes, Niocla’s latest project Big Mood is finally out for the world to see and it looks like we’re not the only ones who have been tuning in.

Taking to Instagram, Louisa shared a throwback pic of herself and Nicola where she gushed about her pal’s new show.

“I finished BIG MOOD in the theatre on Saturday,” she began her post.

“The last ep left me breathless.

“This not only goes out to Nica whose performance is perfect – but to Camilla Whitehill-Mathieson you really did it mills,” she added.

“Oh Weez I love you thank you,” Nicola responded.

And it’s not just Nicola who has new work out in the open as Louisa is currently starring in the Disney+ series called Renegade Nell, where she plays the title character.

So what’s it about?

Well, Nell is a quick-witted and courageous young woman who finds herself framed for murder and unexpectedly becomes the most notorious highwaywoman in 18th-century England.

Things, however, take a turn when a magical spirit called Billy Blind, played by Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), appears and Nell realises her destiny is bigger than she ever imagined.

Both Renegade Nell and Big Mood are currently available to stream on Disney+ and the Channel 4 player, respectively.
