Dermot O’Leary has opened up about his wife’s pregnancy whilst filling in for Zoe Ball on her Radio Two Breakfast Show. Whilst on air he was interviewing Guy Garvey from Elbow and they spoke about his exciting baby news.
Although they did joke about baby names, with the lead singer joking that “Guy is a nice name,” they also spoke about due dates with Dermot revealing that his wife Dee is due in late June or early July.
In February of this year the presenter announced he is to be a Dad for the first time.
Married to his wife, Dee for 18 years this is their first child together. The presenter best known for hosting The X Factor shared the news on his Instagram account at the time in the sweetest way.
His wife, Dee, is a TV and film director and also shared the exciting news on social media; “We’re pleased to announce that we’re expecting a little Koppang O’Leary…”
Many famous faces were quick to send their congratulations to the happy couple.
Holly Willoughby commented; “This is just such wonderful news… love you both 💕💕💕”
