Daniel O’Donnell left a lifelong fan in tears with a moving gesture while filming Daniel & Majella’s B&B Road Trip.
The moving moment happened on the latest episode of their hit UTV show when host Mary Corbett introduced Ireland’s golden couple to her parents John and Bridget.
Mary asked her dad to name his favourite song and when he replied saying “My Donegal Shore” Daniel immediately sang his hit song for his number one fan.
John had tears in his eyes as he listened to his idol in the Connemara Country Lodge in Clifden, Co Galway.
Speaking about the special moment, Mary said she was blown away by Daniel’s kind gesture.
“I was not expecting that reaction from Daniel.” she said.
“My daughter Stephanie was shocked to see dad with tears in his eyes. It was so moving. To have him in my kitchen singing for my elderly parents – I will treasure that memory for ever.”
