Amazing news for Crystal Swing’s Dervla Burke today, as the singer and her husband Tim O’Connor have welcomed a baby boy into the world.
The bundle of joy, who the couple have named Paul, arrived in the wee hours of Thursday morning, just after 2am, weighing 7lbs 9oz.
Speaking to the Independent.ie, Dervla’s mum Mary said that the new parents couldn’t be happier with their new arrival. She also said that 24-year-old Dervla is doing well.
“They are absolutely thrilled to welcome the little baby. The baby is healthy and strong, he’s a quiet little fella. Everything went well with the delivery and birth thank God.
“She’s staying the hospital until Sunday. She’s totally exhausted and drained, but absolutely delighted,” she said.
