Amy Huberman joins highly anticipated TV show

Amy Huberman has been announced as the latest cast member of the massively anticipated TV adaptation of Boys of Tommen.

Chloe Walsh’s book series will be brought to the small screen by Prime Video.

The “core 10” have been cast by young, up-and-coming actors. You can read all about that here.

Prime Video has shared even more casting news with exciting Irish talent being attached to the show.

Amy will play Edel Kavanagh, the devoted mother of Johnny Kavanagh.

Fans were delighted by her casting, especially as she has a connection to Irish rugby, as she is married to Brian O’Driscoll.

Róisín Gallagher will also star in the show as Marie Lynch who is the mother to six children including Darren, Joey, Shannon, Tadhg, Ollie, and Sean.

Róisín is best known for her roles in The Dry and How to Get to Heaven from Belfast. So we can’t wait to see her take on this character.

She will be joined by Eoin Macken who will play her abusive husband Teddy Lynch.

Eoin is best known for his roles in Merlin, La Brea and most recently in Netflix’s Ransom Canyon.

They’re not the only actors who will join the show.

Jamie Schneider has also been cast as Patrick Feely, completing the Core 10, with James Craven rounding out the new additions as Pierce O’Neill.
