With just one month to go before the big rematch, UFC 202, Conor McGregor had some stern words for his opponent Nate Diaz, ahead of the highly-anticipated fight.
The Crumlin native recorded a video that was played for Nate while he appeared on Conan O’Brian’s talk show last night.
Nate beat Conor at UFC 196 back in March, but this time he’s determined to win.
In the vid the Notorious said, “I’m taking this contest very very seriously, I’ve flown in specific body types to replicate Nate’s skinny, tall frame. The boy won the lotto the last time- he knows it, I know it. Well August 20th I get my revenge and I look forward to it.”
Conor also took a jab at Nate’s fashion sense, making a joke out of him for wearing the same black t-shirt all the time. Oh that fight talk, perfect for rilling him up pre-fight!
“I just hope he’s not up on that stage wearing that stupid black t-shirt that he’s never out of. He’s been wearing that same damn t-shirt for the past twenty years or something,” he said.
