Clodagh McKenna has revealed her hopes to wed next year – but admits they’d have no problem pushing their big day back for another while, if family members couldn’t attend.
The celebrity chef announced her engagement at the beginning of October, after her partner Harry Herbert popped the question.
The pair were enjoying a romantic candle-lit meal, when he asked her to marry him – and Clodagh didn’t hesitate in saying yes.
Now they are busy planning their big day and while they hope to tie the knot in 2021, will only do so if their family and friends can be with them.
Speaking to Daithi O’Se and Sinead Kennedy on The Today Show, Clodagh said, “The most important thing for us is that my family from Ireland can travel here and Harry’s got family abroad as well, so we want everyone with us.
“That is the most important thing. Even if it’s just a table in the middle of the field and we’re all together – that’s what is important. We’re going to wait until next year, fingers crossed.”
The happy couple have been dating since 2017 and moved in together just over two years ago.
We wish them continued joy.
