Cillian Murphy set to take on a role in a new children’s film.
The Peaky Blinders actor will lend his voice to Kensuke’s Kingdom, based on the Michael Morpurgo book of the same name.
Morpurgo also penned the popular book War Horse.
The book tells the story of a young boy who is washed overboard on his family yacht and ends up on a remote island where he struggles to survive until he realises someone is helping to keep him alive.
Murphy will join The Shape of Water’s Sally Hawkins, and Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai) in the animated adaptation.
