The full trailer has landed for Dunkirk, starring Cillian Murphy, One Direction’s Harry Styles and Mad Max frontman Tom Hardy. Viewers had previously seen short short clips from the upcoming film, but now the full advertisement has been released.
The film, directed by Christopher Nolan, is set in World War Two during the battle of Dunkirk, and provides for tense and action-packed viewing.
It tells the story of Operation Dynamo, which was carried out by British soldiers in an effort to save 300,000 troops who were surrounded by the Nazi army in the French port of Dunkirk. it gives detail of the operation and the devastation that occurred because of it. In fact, one of the first scenes in the new trailer bodies can be seen floating in the sea.
The movie isn’t set to be released until July 2017, but in the meantime you can check out the promo:
