Is it fair to say that Chloe Ormond is a second generation influencer?
She certainly has grown up in the limelight with her father being Brian Ormond and her step-mother Pippa O’Connor.
She admits that being an influencer wasn’t a concious decision for her as STELLAR chats to her at this year’s Hayu InstaStar Awards.
Instead, it was just a natural next step for her.
“This is the norm for me. I just kind of followed in my dad’s footsteps. I loved going to events with him and going on The Late Late Toy Show with him when I was just a baby. I think I fell into it naturally. I don’t know if I planned on doing it but it just kind of happened,” she confesses with a shrug.
With 79k Instagram followers, she has cemented her spot in the new generation of Irish influencers. And it’s clear her parents have inspired her.
So could she follow her father’s footsteps onto the screen?
She laughs and confesses: “I don’t know! I kind of follow the butterfly theory and just kind of go with the flow. I just say yes to everything, to every opportunity that comes along. So if the opportunity to present came up I definitely wouldn’t say no to it.”

She adds: “I’m just living my life!”
Of course, growing up in the limelight with her dad means that she has gotten used to the nasty side of social media. And she’s well able to shrug it off.
Speaking about trolls, she simply says: “To be honest, I just ignore it. I have really thick skin. And I always say if they’re not talking about you then you’re not relevant enough. So happy days!”
