Brian McFadden cancelled a concert in Belfast due to issues with his voice, the day after a night out with friends in a Dublin hotspot.
The former Westlife singer is currently attempting to make his big comeback, and is currently doing a number of gigs to promote new single ‘Call on Me Brother’.
But he pulled out of a gig in Belfast’s Empire venue on Sunday night due to “serious vocal illness”, leaving fans disappointed.
The 35-year-old was spotted in Lillies Bordello with pal Keith Duffy just 24 hours prior, according to the Irish Independent.

Brian also bumped into his old band member Nicky Byrne and wife Georgina, posting on Twitter: “”Lovely to see Nicky & Georgina Byrne and the rest of the Baldoyle massive last night. Been a long time.” He later reposted a tweet from SD Entertainment, which read: “Due to serious vocal illness @BrianMcFadden cannot perform tonight @belfastEmpire . A new date will be announced this week for 2016.”
Soon afterwards, Brian uploaded a video of him attempting to speak, captioned ‘My voice has decided to go on holiday’.
A number of followers sent on their well wishes, with one writing: “You made the right decision last night and real fans totally understand! Get well soon!”
