Brian Dowling’s life is going to change for the better when they welcome his first child with his husband Arthur Gourounlian later this year.
But before he is overcome with nappy changes and night feeds, Brian jetted off for a lavish holiday.
The presenter landed in New York for a getaway, joking that his social media is about to be overrun with pictures of their time away.
The dad-to-be headed to the Summit One Vanderbilt, which certainly isn’t for anyone afraid of heights.
Brian posted several shots of himself with his pal Leighann Gibbons taking in the sites from the skyscraper. They even lay on the glass floor to take some snaps from the mirrored ceiling.
“The first instalment of my NYC photo dump is OFFICIALLY COMING YOUR WAY,” Brian joked as he shared his first official grid post.
“Such fun with @leighanngibbons1 at the Summit One Vanderbilt. We were 95 floors up & the view was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE.
“It’s something I’ve never done before. We got to watch the sunset plus have a cocktail after. And yes it looks like we are wearing black bags on our feet, I can confirm we had to wear these as we were walking on glass.”
The pair confirmed they were expecting their first child in May, with Brian’s sister Aoife carrying their baby.
As for what we can expect from their show, it seems to be a no holes barred-style documentary.
No word on what channel it will be available on, but Brian had previously teased the possibility of a show, mentioning an Irish channel had reached out to them.
Telling the Irish Mirror, “We are in talks about potentially doing something, yes. It’s more local in Ireland. Obviously with the option to sell to whoever wants it and to the UK or wherever.”
