Brendan Gleeson has landed a brand new movie role, which will see him starring in Paddington 2.
The Irish actor is set to feature in the hotly anticipated sequel to the 2014 hit movie.
It’s been revealed that Brendan will play the role of ‘Knuckles’ McGinty, a new ally for Paddington.
Hugh Grant will also be joining the cast, starring alongside the likes of Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent and Peter Capaldi.
Speaking about the movie, director Paul King has said, “I couldn’t be more excited about Hugh and Brendan joining the cast to bring his next outing to life. Together, I hope we can make a film worthy of this most exceptional of bears.”
The movie is set to be released in November 2017.
