Wilderness expert Bear Grylls has opened up about who he would like to see take part in his series, Bear Grylls Running Wild.
He recently had American actress Courteney Cox on the show, where she was forced to eat a scrotum full of maggots!
Speaking to The Herald, 42-year-old Bear revealed that he would like to see what Bono is made of by putting him through his paces on the programme.
“We always try and take people that everyone knows, but don’t really know.
“That’s the key for our Running Wild shows – famous people, but with an enigma.
“Everyone knows Obama but no one knows what he’s going to be like climbing up and down a mountain. I think Bono would be cool,” he said.
The survivalist also admitted that he would love to have funnyman Graham Norton on his show.
“Graham Norton would be a good one for an ITV2 show,” he said.
Bear will be bringing his upcoming Endeavour tour to the 3 Arena on October 19th and is excited about getting back to Ireland. Originally from Down, and still has lots of Friends here in Ireland.
“One of the reasons that I’m excited to come to Ireland is that it’s such a big part of my family’s life for generations. I left when I was about four, but it’s amazing to go back and we still have so many good friends there,” he said.
