Angela Scanlon temporarily replaced a well known British host, Alex Jones, on The One Show in the UK yesterday.
She co-hosted the half hour show with Matt Baker, and the Irish star impressed viewers so much that they want her to be made a permanent replacement.
Angela received rave reviews following her presenting stint, as viewer’s were taken by Angela’s wit and charm.
Alex has presented The One Show since 2010 but apparently six years in the job isn’t long enough to round up loyal viewers.
After just half an hour, fans of the show were calling for Angela to replace the long time host.
Some viewers took to Twitter to gush about the Irish beauty and slate Alex.
Angela also took to Twitter saying “Well that was fun! Thanks for having me @BBCTheOneShow x @MissAlexjones I left a Welsh flag in your dressing room.”
Despite the phenomenal reaction, we don’t think she’ll have time to take on the role, as she’s already signed on to represent Robot Wars.
