Singer, musician and wingman extraordinaire! Liam Payne he has revealed his new relationship with Cheryl, is all down to good pal Niall Horan.
The couple, who have been dating since 2015, welcomed their first son Bear together in March of this year, and their romance is all thanks to Niall playing cupid.
As we know, the gorgeous couple first met when Liam auditioned for X Factor back in 2010, when Cheryl was on the judging panel. However, in a recent interview with Radio1Xtra, the new dad revealed that ex bandmate Niall Horan and music mogul Simon Cowell played a big part in the pair finally getting together.
“Niall came over to me and said you’ll never guess who’s got a crush on you — Cheryl,” Liam admitted.
“I was saying something about Cheryl in Simon’s house and he said I know who the future Mrs. Payne is.
“Apparently, he really embarrassed her one day by saying, ‘Do you know who really fancies you,’ and she left the room bright red and Niall told me this whole story. They played Cupid.”
