They seemed like Ireland’s hottest new couple – but it’s been reported that rugby hunk Conor Murray and Limerick model Shauna Lindsay have split.
We spoke to Shauna at the launch of the Peter Mark Style Awards yesterday, where she told us that she didn’t want to speak about their relationship and wanted to keep her private life private.
But it’s emerged that the 21-year-old has in fact not been with the Munster and Ireland player for a number of weeks.
A source revealed: “It just didn’t work out between them, Shauna is upset about the whole thing.”
“They broke up a few weeks ago. They got on great but Conor is always training and travelling, it’s not ideal for a relationship.
“Shauna is just focused on her career now and she is spending her time building her modelling career,” the insider told Goss.ie.
While their romance didn’t work out, Shauna’s modelling career is going from strength to strength, and she will be moving to Dublin from her native Limerick to focus on getting more work in the next few weeks.
She’s nominated for Most Stylish Newcomer in this year’s Style Awards and at yesterday’s launch she told us that she has been thrilled to see her profile rise so quickly in recent weeks.
