Aoibhin Garrihy was finally reunited with hubby John Burke as he returned to Ireland following Everest triumph.
The hotelier became the first Clare man to successfully summit Everest on May 16th, at 9.45am local time.
John was welcomed home with open arms yesterday evening as he was greeted by loved ones in Shannon Airport.
Sharing an adorable snap of the pair, Aoibhin said, “A day we’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone who made it so special.”

There’s set to be a whole host of celebrations in the Armada Hotel over the next couple of days to mark his safe return, and they are truly well deserved.
