Aoibhin Garrihy has tied the knot to her long term love John Burke today, in Doolin, Co.Clare. The couple wed in an intimate ceremony this morning, and continued the festivities afterwards in the Armada Hotel, at Spanish Point, which John is manager of.
And while The Fair City star decided not to do any glossy magazine deals, and instead keep the wedding private, VIP has just received three gorgeous photos from the big day, taken by the couple’s official wedding photographer.
Aoibhín’s stunning dress for the big day was a bespoke gown designed by Irish Designer Emma Manley, which was encrusted with Swarovski crystals. The design of the wedding dress was inspired by the Wild Atlantic West Coast of Ireland, and new two sisters, bridesmaids Ailbhe and Doireann Garrihy, also wore dresses by Emma Manley.
After the simple but stunning ceremony in Doolin, the wedding party and guests retired to the Armada, where they enjoyed entertainment by Irish bands Moxie and The Heathers. The meal was a celebration of locally sourced produce which “took people on a culinary style tasting trip through Co Clare”!
