Andrew Scott is a very, very busy man!
He seems to be in everything at the minute and honestly, we are loving it.
And now his next project has just been announced!
Here’s everything you need to know.
The Dubliner will be joined by Ethan Hawke Margaret Qualley and Bobby Cannavale in an upcoming film, Blue Moon.
The new film will be directed by Richard Linklater, who has a close connection with Ethan Hawke. The pair have worked on the Before trilogy over the years, starting with Before Sunrise in 1995.
The upcoming flick is set to be filmed in Ireland this summer.
So keep an eye out for the stars!
According to Deadline, the film follows the final days of Lorenz Hart who was half of the hit songwriting team Rodgers & Hart.
The film is set primarily in Sardi’s Restaurant on March 31, 1943, the opening night of Oklahoma!, which marked Rodgers’s first collaboration with Oscar Hammerstein II as Hart’s replacement.
This isn’t the director’s first time working with an Irish star, the American filmmaker is currently working on Merrily We Roll Along with Paul Mescal.
Much like his acclaimed film, Boyhood, the movie is being filmed over the course of many, many years to truly show the passage of time. It will take 20 years to film, so we’ll have to hold out for this one.
