Actress and comedian Amy Huberman is set to make her return to television in new RTE legal drama Cheaters.
The 36-year-old will play the role of a betrayed wife, Tara, who sets up her own legal practice after catching her fiancee having an affair.
The four part drama, also stars Rory Keenan from Peaky Blinders.
Speaking about the show Jane Gogan, Head of Drama at RTE, said that it “reflects a modern world and stories of family and emotional relationships – the flux, the chaos and the ridiculous – and how such stories end up in the legal system. It’s a good time to explore the subject.”
Filming for the new series will begin in the next couple of weeks in Dublin, but a release date for the show hasn’t been shared with us just yet.
It’ll certainly be a busy few months for the Irish star, as this announcement comes very soon after it was revealed that the mum-of-two will be starring in an upcoming World War Two film.
We can’t wait to see her new stuff!
