Amanda Byram, tv presenter turned fitness junky extraordinaire, marked her 42nd birthday recently with a suitably healthy bash. In celebration, the star was treated to a nature-inspired party which included hammocks, teepees, superfood snacks and the coolest of celebrity pals.
Close friend Fearne Cotton was on hand to plan the low-key get together, just as Amanda would want it. The BBC presenter took to Instagram to show off the preparations for her friend. Sharing a snap of her homemade birthday cake, which was unsurprisingly healthy, the radio star captioned it;
“Wheat, refined sugar and dairy free cake. Just made this as a surprise for someone.”
Amanda also informed her Twitter followers of some of the gifts she received, including Fearne’s tropical birthday card. Thanking her boyfriend Julian Oakines for his present, she wrote;
“Early birthday gift from my love, my first bike as an adult. Thank you Julian.”
These days the presenter is leading the ultimate healthy lifestyle, and now in her 40s, she’s training harder than ever.
“People think I must be absolutely crazy with my lifestyle, and then in the same breath they’ll go, “You look really well for your age!” “But I’ve learned you can’t have one without the other. My lifestyle reflects how I look. I feel better now than I did at 30”, she revealed.
