Amanda Byram has revealed that she has her eye on some dream contestants for the next series of Dancing with the Stars.
The star who presents the show alongside Nicky Byrne has a politician at the top of her list.
“I’d love Leo Varadkar to do it, his dad was our family doctor and I was in school with his sister Sophie,” she told the Mirror.
“One sister was below me and another ahead of me, when I went to my GP, his dad, I used to see a young Leo running around, I think he’d be great on the show.”
With the third series kicking off in January, show bosses are already looking out for celebs to take part.
Amanda also has her own favourites who she’d love to see on the show.
“They’re still looking for the right celebrities, they’re casting the net.
“It’s really hard to know who they’ll go for, I’m still gunning for Miriam (O’Callaghan), I want to see that woman in a short skirt, she’s got the most amazing body.”
The 45-year-old would love to see some of Ireland’s funny people on the show too.
“I’ve been asking for Amy Huberman and Brian (O’Driscoll) for the last few years but apparently they’re not into it, but you never know.
“I’d love Catastrophe creator Sharon Horgan to do it and Jason Byrne but he can’t obviously because he’s on another show.”
