It’s just been announced that former Xpose presenter Aisling O’Loughlin will not be returning to TV3. She was set to resume work with the station on October 18th after her maternity leave.
It had been reported that the mum-of-three was seeking legal action over her treatment at the station, as she discovered she had been axed from Xpose while on leave.
Following meetings with her lawyers and representatives from the Ballymount station, Aisling has decided to reject the offer from TV3, which was covering for holidaying presenters, and go elsewhere.
A source close to the 38-year-old said that the situation had become messy and uncomfortable for Aisling.
“It’s become like a messy divorce. As far as Aisling and TV3 are concerned, the writing is on the wall. The trust is gone.
“She would have no desk, no seat in the office. It’d be a weird way for Aisling to go back to TV3,” the source said.
