We’ve all been there, we’re going to an important event and our outfit just doesn’t work.

However, it is rare that we head somewhere without that important outfit. Unfortunately, Aisling Bea had to deal with this situation when she flew over to the States.

The Irish comedian was chatting on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week but was left without her luggage after it went missing on her flight.

Quick thinking Aisling decided to lean into the joke of it all and wear what she found in her hotel room AKA her bathrobe!

She spoke to Will and Grace’s Sean Hayes who was stepping in for Jimmy in a white robe and hotel slippers. Of course, her hilarious personality distracted from the look completely, in fact, we forget what she was wearing almost immediately.

She added some glamour with gold accessories, including a bangle and rings.

“BA lost my luggage but luckily I was able to fashion an outfit for @jimmykimmellive from some items in the hotel. Just like Maria in the Sound of Music,” she wrote on social media.

“OBSESSED TO MEET @seanhayes who was guest hosting this week. I had an excuse to touch him IRL, what a rush.

She was on hand to promote the second series of This Way Up which has launched on Hulu in the States.

“Thank you to @alexahernandez.xyz for doing my make up & @giocampora for doing my hair to finish off my fashion LOOK.

“Also thanks to Tom and Lena at @carasoin for giving me a lovely facial when I was a little stress head & @lordham for the haircut.”

She then went on to joke, thanking her stylists AKA the reception and housekeeping team at the Sunset Marquis, writing, “And shout out to my stylists – the reception & housekeeping team at @sunsetmarquis who loaned me this (dressing) gown.”
