Aideen Kate has opened up about why she chose to move to Dubai.
Yes, last month Aideen announced that she would be making the big move with her fiancé, Dave and since then, it’s safe to say that the pair are settling in nicely.
However, what spurred the move?
Speaking out on Instagram Stories, Aideen admitted how she and Dave always wanted to move abroad, but thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were forced to stay put.

“We were going to go to Australia I had everything booked, but obviously it fell through,” Aideen began.
She then shared how they had both accepted the fact that they would probably never get the chance to move abroad again – that was until last year.
“We started toying with the idea of going somewhere,” she added before noting how they felt that Austalia now seemed too far away considering the stage of life they were now in.
Taking their family, friends and work into consideration, Aideen admitted that she didn’t want to be too far away from them all if something popped up.
“That’s when we kind of thought of Dubai because it’s only a six/seven-hour flight from Ireland and the time difference is good, for work it would also be good for me,” Aideen continued.
“We already know a good few people out here too so it just made sense,” she added.
Since their move, Aideen has already been sharing several updates with her followers.
And yes, she looks like she’s loving every minute of her new life!
