Aidan O’Mahony has shared the adorable reason why himself and wife Denise decided to name their first baby girl, Lucia.
The happy couple became first time parents recently, after Denise gave birth to their daughter almost two weeks ago.
Aidan admitted that the duo were drawn to the name following a suggestion from their niece.
Speaking exclusively to VIP Magazine, he said, “We spoke about every name under the sun and this name just really suited her.
“One of our nieces had mentioned something like it, and it just fit.
“They say when you see the baby you just know, and this was the perfect name.”
Aidan will be performing in the finals of Dancing with the Stars this Sunday at 6.30pm on RTE One.
