Kerry footballer Aidan O’Mahony took to social media to bid farewell to his brother, John.
John passed away suddenly on February 4th.
His younger brother, Aidan, shared a heartbreaking tribute to John.
“Don’t know where to start,” he wrote, “loved by everyone near & far, an amazing brother & such a special person – Love you so so much. RIP John.”
He was met with condolences from his friends with Maia Dunphy commenting: “Oh Aidan, I’m so very sorry. XXX”
“So so sorry for your loss,” Anna Geary wrote.
“Aidan, really sorry to hear this horrible news. I hope you’re ok,” Nicky Byrne told him.
Per RIP.ie he leaves behind his wife Trish and four children.
“Beloved husband of Trish. Dearly loved father of Mark, Katie, Molly and JT. Beloved son of Kathleen and the late Thade. Sadly missed by his loving brothers Noel, Anthony, Kieran and Aidan, sisters Nora and Linda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, extended family and a wide circle of friends.”
His funeral took place on Friday the 9th of February.
