He stole the nation’s hearts with his virtual hug and positive outlook on life during last year’s Late Late Toy Show, and it looks like Adam’s positivity is paying off, as he has just received a very special gift from real-life astronaut Chris Hadfield.
Having already virtually met and spoken to Chris before, Adam ad Chris have remained in touch, with Chris even sending him and his siblings a special gift for Christmas.
Signing a copy of his astronaut portrait, Chris wrote:
“For my friend Adam, pursue your dreams.”
Sharing the news on the ‘Adventures With Adam’ Twitter account, the post wrote:
“Thank you so much @Cmdr_Hadfield for the lovely present you sent Adam and his siblings – they were absolutely delighted!”

Getting wind of Adam’s ambitions, Chris has since been supporting the six-year-old in his dreams, chatting all about his first mission to space during their first encounter.
Chris Hadfield has also said that Adam may very well take up his role someday if he keeps up his great work.
