Robbie Keane is thankful for the kindness of a good samaritan this week, after he found himself in unfortunate circumstances in Los Angeles.
The LA Galaxy player was driving home from training yesterday when he ran out of petrol, leaving him stranded on the freeway.
Looking for assistance, a motorist called Warren Williams came to the aid of the 36-year-old. Warren had petrol with him, and filled up Robbie’s car with enough petrol to get him home safely. How sweet?
The striker took to Instagram to thank Warren for his kindness and generosity. Accompanying the selfie of the two men, Robbie wrote, “If it weren’t for Warren Williams I’d still be stuck on the freeway, thanks pal #NoGasInTheTank #GoodPeopleInTheWorld.”
How lovely is this? There are still some nice people in the world.
