Aoibhin married her longterm love John in Co. Clare last September. They tied the knot in Doolin and celebrated with friends and family at The Armada Hotel, Spanish Point. Her dress was custom made and fitted like a glove. Speaking to VIP Magazine of the exclusive dress Aoibhin said, “It was unchartered waters for me, but the whole process has been really fun, especially being able to say, well hows about a little bit longer here, a little bit shorter there, a bit of tweaking and pulling. Just to have that relationship with the designer has been really special.”

There were only two people at the official wedding, because all their loved ones attended the couple’s civil ceremony 15 years ago. Speaking of the special day Alan said, “23 years ago today we met…15 years later we had our civil ceremony …and because the Irish people said ‘YES’, we can say ‘I Do’. I couldn’t be prouder marrying this gorgeous man.”
