Lucy Kennedy confirmed as presenter of Ireland’s Got Talent as judges also revealed

Lucy Kennedy will present TV3 talent show Ireland’s Got Talent.

The exciting announcement was made today at the launch of TV3’s new schedule.

Though it had been speculated for weeks that Lucy may be taking on the role, it was officially confirmed today.

Ireland’s Got Talent is set to air on TV3 with auditions taking place in the autumn.

Four judges will also take part in the show.

Louis Walsh is set to be one of the judges.  As one of Ireland’s biggest talent scouts, and someone who has worked extensively on talent shows like the X Factor, the Irishman is more than qualified.

Speaking at the launch today, Louis said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be apart of Irelands Got Talent, It’ll be the biggest search for talent Ireland has ever seen.”

The talented Denise Van Outen will also be a judge on the show. Denise is an actress, singer, dancer and presenter, which means she is the perfect judge for a multi-talent search show.

Speaking about what she is looking for on the show, Denise said: “I like showmanship I like kids who are really talented I like pets as well.”

Comedian Jason Byrne, who will also be a judge, is confident that there is plenty of talent in the country.

“It should be called Ireland’s already got talent. It’s just going to be Irish people being Irish people. It’s going to be great craic,” he said.

TV personality and singer Michelle Visage is the fourth judge taking part in the show.

Michelle, who also judged RuPaul’s Drag Race, revealed that when it comes to auditons, “I love people who think outside of the box,”

The exciting prize will see the winner get their own Christmas TV show.
