Graham Norton made a welcome return to our screens last weekend with the 20th series of The Graham Norton Show. However, he shockingly today questioned whether he still loves his Friday night chat show or not.
The presenter appeared on ITV’s This Morning today with Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby to discuss his new book Holding, but when asked if he was happy that his show was back, the Cork native wasn’t quick to give a definitive answer.
“The show is back… But do I still love it? When the series comes back I do interviews, yeah, I usually say, ‘I love my job’ and stuff like that.
“And this year I came back and I thought, ‘Do I love this? It’s quite dull sitting in my office’. Then I went in the studio and then I realised, ‘Yes I do love this job, it’s fantastic’. We are very blessed with the caliber of people we have on,” he said.
Phew, we’re delighted we don’t have to face Friday night’s without Graham- they wouldn’t be the same!
