Claudine and Robbie Keane welcomed the latest addition to their family earlier this month, and the new mum has revealed that Robert Jr is loving his new role as an older brother, and is very protective over little Hudson.
The family are all settling in well with the new addition, however Claudine is making sure herself and Robbie are putting in a special effort with Robert Jr to make sure he doesn’t feel left out at all.
Writing in her Irish Daily Star column she said, “I felt a bit sorry for Robert Jr as he had his first spelling test the week I had Hudson. It’s such a big change in the household.
“He’s loving being a big brother but it’s really important to Rob and I that he feels included in everything. Since Rob’s returned home, they’ve done plenty of things together.”
Claudine also admitted that young Robert is adapting really well to his role as a big brother, and loving the new responsibility.
“Rob and I brought Robert Jr to Hudson’s first paediatric check-up and the doctor allowed him to listen to his breathing. I’ve really noticed that Robert is a protective big brother. It’s a learning curve for us all,” she said.
