DWTS: Here’s how everyone got on during week five

We hope you’ve cancelled your bank holiday plans to sit in to watch Dancing with the Stars!

Truly there is nowhere else we’d rather be than in front of the telly with our favourite celebs.

So how did the remaining nine couples get on during week five?

Jockey Davy has been coming on leaps and bounds over the last few weeks. He performed an American Smooth on Sunday night

Loraine gushed about how “smooth” it all was, which was the main component for the American Smooth!

“It was so refreshing,” Arthur enthused.

He was awarded six from Brian and seven from Arthur and Loraine, meaning he got 20 points overall.

She lived up to her name of Foxy with her Samba!

“Hot, hot, hot!” Arthur gushed about the dance.

“For a girl from Galway it really felt like you were born in Brazil,” Brian added, before saying that she had “blown the competition wide open.”

She certainly impressed the judges as she got three nine from the judges, adding up to 27.

He’s topped the leaderboard twice. Can he bring it in for another week with his Cha-Cha-Cha?

Brian was left unimpressed telling David that it wasn’t “David Whelan brilliant”.

“I just want to get up and dance with you,” Arthur praised. “This was fire.”

The judges gave them three eights, meaning that they got 24 points altogether.

Shane wanted to show a different side this week after landing in the bottom three last week.

Loraine told him that he needed to let himself “shine” on stage.

“It was dark and mysterious and I loved it,” Arthur said.

As for the points, he got six from Brian and Loraine and a seven from Arthur adding up to 19.

Eileen Dunne showed off her skills with her Jive. And all we can say is g’wan Eileen!

Of course, the judges had a little more to say! “Each week you bring such happiness,” Arthur told her with a huge smile.

“The twist was absolutely great but I was just hoping for a jive,” Brian said.

The judges awarded her 17 with a two sixes from Loraine and Arthur and a five from Brian.

Rosanna Davison had the time of her life with her Charleston this week. She was jumping and lepping all over the place!

She certainly impressed the judges and viewers with her dance!

“When you came out here and danced in week one I never thought you capable of doing a performance like that,” Brian told her.

Nurse Rosie and Doctor Dreamy were awarded two nines from Loraine and Arthur and an eight from Brian, giving her a total of 26.

We got a different side to Blu with this Contemporary Ballroom dance.

With her mic-pack flying around the floor, there was a lot of drama!

“To continue with that microphone swinging around, hats off to you,” Loraine praised.

She was awarded two eights from Loraine and Brian and a nine from Arthur, adding up to 25.

Jason wanted to prove that he deserved to stay in the competition with his Salsa.

It was all about Jason’s “swagger”. And the judges had plenty to say about it!

“The Salsa Swagger was there!” Arthur promised but added that he was “a bit overwhelmed”.

Jason and Karen got three six points from each judge, adding up to 18 points!

Katja Mia and Ervinas Merfeldas

Katja showed off her vulnerable side as she danced the Viennese Waltz.

She wanted to “silence the haters” after she received body-shaming troll messages over the week.

She was moved to tears by Loraine’s powerful message telling her and everyone that they were able and welcome to the world of dance regardless of their bodies.

Katja was awarded two eights from Loraine and Arthur and a seven from Brian, bringing the total to 23.
