We can’t believe it’s time to say goodbye to Dancing with the Stars for another year.

We’ve had highs, we’ve had lows. We’ve had twists and turns and twirls!

Now our finalists, Laura Fox, Blu Hydrangea,  Jason Smyth and David Whelan will battle it out on St Patrick’s Day for the glitterball trophy.

And the only scores that mattered this week were the viewers’ votes. Sorry judges!

Here’s how everyone got on…

Laura Fox and Denys Samson

For her judge’s choice dance, Laura was jiving again.

Laura performed the jive in the first episode of the show, so it seemed fitting that she would return to the dance for one of her last times on the floor.

“Tonight you absolutely smashed it,” Loraine told Laura. “What an amazing start to this final.”

Arthur gave her his iconic, “J’adore” to the delight of Laura and Denys.

While the judges’ votes don’t count, of course, they still got to give their scores. And Laura kicked things off with a 30!

Laura’s last dance was incredible, just like every other time she got on the floor.

We adored her show dance and so did the judges.

Arthur told her that this dance was the “cherry on top of the cake” and that it was “sensational”.

“I don’t think it can get any better than that,” Brian told her.

“You made it look easy and made it easy for me to say spectacular,” Loraine said.

It was another perfect score of three 10s and a total of 30.

Jason Smyth and Karen Byrne

Jason’s coconuts are back! Yes, for judge’s choice he performed his iconic Samba.

We loved the first time he performed this dance, but we absolutely adored its return.

“I got my first ever boo when you did this dance,” Arthur reminded him, “but I am not getting booed tonight. Because that was incredible.”

He added that “every coconut fell out of their tree” because of how incredible Jason danced.

While Loraine told him that he improved 100 per cent!

Brian and Arthur awarded him a nine while Loraine gave him a 10, giving him a total of 28!

Karen decided to step into Jason’s shoes for their final dance together and opted to be blindfolded.

And it’s safe to say there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

“You have certainly gone the distance. But your journey isn’t about what you’ve learned, it’s what you’ve taught us,” an emotional Brian said.

“We have all gained an experience with you,” Loraine told Jason. “This was an exhibition and a lesson about what you can do in life.”

“You put everything into this dance,” Arthur said, before thanking him.

It’s no surprise that he was awarded an incredible 30.

David Whelan and Salome Chachua

Another jive for the final, as David and Salome were back to Movie Week for the final.

And if we thought his first time on the dancefloor was energetic, this one blew it out of the water.

“Tonight, every step was about as tight as a pair of John Travolta’s trousers,” Brian enthused.

“This is truly off the charts, super fantastic, off the charts!” Loraine.

While Arthur told him that this dance needed to be “engraved in Dancing with the Stars history”. High praise!

It’s no surprise he was awarded a score of 30!

David Whelan has always been one to watch on the dancefloor. And his final dance was no different.

He blew everyone away with his Show Dance.

Loraine referred to the dance as “breathtaking” and we couldn’t think of a better word for it.

“I don’t have words in my English dance vocabulary,” Arthur told them. And he got another, “J’adore”.

“You’ve given so much from this season of Dancing with the Stars, but I think you’ve gotten so much more than given,” Brian added. He pointed out how he has now bonded with his father over their “love of dance”.

It was an outstanding 30 points from the judges.

Blu Hydrangea and Simone Arena

Blu was ready to impress the judges with her Contemporary Ballroom and without a rogue microphone pack this time around.

“You didn’t miss a beat,” Loraine enthused. “This is absolutely fantastic.”

While Arthur, “The vulnerability and the emotion you gave tonight, you absolutely delivered tonight.”

Meanwhile Brian told Blu that the routine was “just epic”. Yes, a rare critique when Brian was speechless!

And it was three 10s for Blu!

Is it any surprise that Blu smashed her Show Dance?

It really showcased all her talents as she danced, spun and laughed. Truly iconic!

Blu got emotional as she waited for her final critique from the judges.

“You’re always pushing the boundaries. Be who you are,” Arthur told him.

“You’re beautiful. I’m so glad you are who you are,” Brain went on to say.

“Unbelievably fantastic,” Loraine enthused as she gushed about his Broadway performance.

To finish up the show, Blu got her final 30 of the season.
