DWTS: The celebrities reveal their Dedicated Dances

This week on Dancing with the Stars it is Dedicated Dance Week.

That means that the stars will all perform a routine dedicated to someone they care about.

Here’s who they will be paying tribute to on Sunday night!

Former jockey Davy Russell and Kylee Vincent will be doing their Contemporary Ballroom to Roar by Katy Perry in honour of Russell’s wife, Edelle.

2FM DJ and Ireland’s Fittest Family host, Laura Fox and her partner, Denys Samson celebrate her grandmother and biggest supporter, Nora AKA ‘Nono’.

The Galway native will aptly perform a Quickstep to Galway Girl by Sharon Shannon feat. Mundy.

David Whelan and Salome Chachua

Wild Youth singer, David Whelan will also honour his father, Jim.

His dad, a former dancer, himself, who competed and won competitions, still teaches Ballroom and Latin dancing. David will dance Rumba with his partner, Salome Chachua to the Sting classic Fields of Gold.

Former RTÉ newsreader, Eileen Dunne, who has been thrilling audiences for the last five weeks, with her iconic outfits alongside her professional dancer, Robert Rowiński, will dance in honour of her friend and former colleague, Mary Kennedy.

The couple will fittingly Foxtrot to Proud Mary by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Former Miss World, Rosanna Davison will dedicate her dance to her father, Chris de Burgh. As 2024 marks de Burgh’s fiftieth year in the music industry, it is only fitting that his daughter dances to his biggest hit, Lady in Red.

She will dance Rumba to the 1986 hit alongside her pro dance partner, Stephen Vincent.

Drag queen, Blu Hydrangea and their partner, Simone Arena will honour the American drag legend, RuPaul.

RuPaul crowned Blu Hydrangea the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World in 2022. Blu will honour their hero by dancing Paso Doble to RuPaul’s hit Sissy That Walk.
